Group Planning & Financial Control Manager
The Role:
The incumbent is responsible for improving the operational and financial effectiveness of the unit and for extracting financial data from various accounting and information systems.
Duties:
- Support the project implementation team on system configuration, business rules including chart of accounts, account types, data structure;
- Design and develop MR2000 and other automated reports;
- Coordinate data collection to facilitate efficient analysis of business proposals and developments;
- Highlight key changes with regard to targets and seek innovative solutions to address management reporting requirements;
- Provide written explanation of financial reports, budgets & forecasts submitted to senior management; and
- Ensure that the management information data produced are relevant, accurate and timely.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Finance and/or a professional qualified Accountant (ACA/CPA), with a minimum of 5 years experience in the banking/financial sector with an IT background; and
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high degree of analytical and problem solving abilities.
