The Corporate Banking & Financial Institutions Unit is based in Bahrain and its primary responsibility is managing the ABC group relationships in its designated area of coverage:  The GCC,   Iran, Iraq, India, Yemen, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.  Clients include governments and quasi-government entities, financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, development funds, social insurance organizations, consumer finance companies, and public and private sector corporates.

ABC offers a variety of products and services for its clients through a relationship-based approach and cooperation and coordination among the group’s product and geographic units.

The aim is to identify opportunities and offer solutions providing alternatives, utilizing the expertise of the product units that include Treasury, Trade Finance, Islamic Banking, Syndications, Project & Structured Finance and Investment Banking.

The ABC global network that is being enhanced by strategic expansion in the Arab World plays a key role in facilitating for the delivery of such services to a broad client base.

Officers of the unit are designated Country Coordination Manager roles to coordinate the bank’s business plans in their respective country of responsibility.
